Fusion-Crete® is a powdered vinyl copolymer compound (essentially plastic in the mix) that restores damaged or deteriorating concrete avoiding removal and replacement. Available in crystallized form, Fusion-Crete® is a non-toxic, non-hazardous admixture. When mixed with water and added to portland cement and sand, it produces a concrete that forms a strong electrochemical bond to existing concrete, asphalt, steel and other materials. This modified concrete has increased compressive, flexural, and tensile strengths. It resists weathering, chemicals, ultraviolet light, vibration, and wear. Fusion-Crete® can be applied in any thickness, even the thickness of a coat of paint. It can be feathered at repair edges without delamination from the base surface.The versatility of Fusion-Crete® permits a wide range of concrete applications from filling cracks, chips or holes in horizontal, vertical, or overhead surfaces, to re-pitching grades and repairing spalled surfaces.
